Good to know: Within our international IT department, our team language is English – while our overall Wawibox company language is German.
  • Web & API Testing: You will test new features, bug fixes, and releases from a user's perspective. Your main focus will be testing our APIs with Postman to guarantee seamless system communication.
  • Test Planning & Documentation: You will create logical test cases, document results comprehensibly, and ensure that bugs are cleanly tracked and managed in Jira.
  • UI Validation: You will put UI components through their paces based on design specifications, wireframes, and functional requirements.
  • Anchoring Quality in the Team: You will work closely with our experienced Senior QA and the development team to continuously optimize our QA processes.
  • Automation as a Plus: You will work with our existing automated Postman test suites. If you bring your own ideas for test automation to the table, we look forward to your input!

  • UTools & Org: Postman, Jira, Bitbucket Pipelines, Slack, Confluence Wiki
  • Testing & Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Sentry
  • Your Workspace: Choice of OS (Win, macOS, Linux) and state-of-the-art equipment!

What we expect

  • A Your Foundation: A degree, vocational training, or a comparable qualification in IT – we are completely open to unconventional or self-taught career paths!
  • Your Experience: Several years of practical experience in software testing (Web & API) and common testing methodologies (e.g., Regression, Smoke, E2E).
  • Data & API Understanding: You possess solid data validation skills and can track as well as verify data flows across APIs and databases.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English is an absolute requirement for our daily team communication.
  • Bonus Points (Not a Must): An ISTQB certification or basic programming/coding skills are a great extra!
